A few minutes ago, Ishan reminded me and Shane of a trick for solving for cubed functions. Pascal's Triangle. We learned this in the 10th grade, but it had escaped my memory. When finding derivitives, it really helps to be able to do these calculations quickly. Ishan also encroaches upon my personal space daily. He likes to put his elbow on my table. Enclosed below, is a picture I snagged when he wasn't looking. I really enjoyed the problems this week, because they were long, and not especially difficult. They are the fun kind of problem.
